The lymph system is the waste removal system of the body. The pumping of the valve system in the parasympathetic nervous system state is what creates the necessary motion for optimal lymphatic system function. With prolonged stress, the function of the lymph system can be compromised and toxins may not be effectively cleared from the body. This topic is discussed in more detail in my Breast Health Workshop, though waste removal is an important function for all areas of the body. Through stress reduction and improved valve system function, the lymph system can regain healthy function.
