Here you can find videos illustrating the work and concepts of the Fajardo Method of Holistic Biomechanics®.

    Biotensegrity

Biotensegrity describes the structural principals and transfer of force in living systems. The video clip below shows a biotensegrity movement model. Note how the leg structure changes shape rather than lengthening or shortening the structural components in order to walk.

    What is Compression™?

This video shows footage of Compression™ and provides a brief explanation of the technique how it benefits the body.

    The Valve System

One of the benefits of Compression™ is that it stimulates the valve system, which is responsible for respiration, circulation, and digestion. It is also essential for immune system response and the health and functioning of our organs. See this video for a more in-depth explanation of the valve system and how it functions.

    Explanation of the Valve System

    Head Movements During Valve Pumping

Diaphragm and Abdominal Organ Movements During Valve Pumping

    Peristalsis

Peristalsis is a wave-like muscle contraction that controls digestion and other vital functions, and is the result of a well-functioning valve system. This video shows an actual filming of a peristaltic wave. Note: Do not watch if you do not want to see the inside of a stomach.
